Good morning!
Today as my first post I will be sharing a little about myself. I am a homemaker, wife, stay at home mom, and lover of Jesus. In my spare time when I'm not feeding, snuggling, or playing with my little guy, I can usually be found cleaning or sewing. We live in the cold, windy, and snowy environment of the upper Midwest where its still snowing in mid April and most of the year is spent inside.
My wonderful husband is in school full time and currently looking for a new job. Our days are usually consisting of him being gone all morning/afternoon, and doing homework and job searching in the evening. But somehow through the busy time we still make time to spend as a family.
My son is 6 moths old, he is a wild child, always on the go! He has the greatest facial expressions and I especially love his smile. He is sitting up, crawling backwards, and EATING EVERYTHING in sight. My son is so precious to me and a great reminder of how much God loves us.
Our goal for our family is to have a relationship with God that our children can see and grow in their own, and to provide our children with a set of life skills to survive in this harsh world. We plan to homeschool our children and at some point have a hobby farm.
My family has been though some great trials but Jesus has been our foundation and keeper. We believe that all things have happened just the way they have for His glory. When it looks like everything is just falling apart, you look back only to see all the things God has done and His glory shining so brightly. I hope the peace, love, grace, and mercy of Jesus shines through this blog!
